We will be doing individual writing conferences this week.  Today, students received their 5 paragraph paper back to assess.  In the subsequent days, we will talk about the good and the bad...mostly good I hope.
 
Here are the questions they needed to answer for tomorrow.  The ones in the yellow are to be written. 
 
Before we meet, here is what I need from you:
1. Mark the paragraph that you think is your “best” by placing a star next to it.
2. Tell me why another paragraph is not your best.  Be sure to explain.
3. Put a star next to your intro or conclusion to tell me which one you want me to focus on.
4. Tell me “why” the other was not as good.
